This is the third year that 4-H Network News has covered A Taste of WSU, during the WSU in Seattle week. We began at the Pike Place Market, and now at Benaroya Hall, but the coverage remains the same - to feature the wonderful bounty of food in Washington State and the achievements of WSU researchers in collaboration with their community partners.

WSU in Seattle 2008: A Taste of WSU at Benaroya Hall

Sophie Gilbert interviews WSU President Elson Floyd.

Sophie Gilbert, 4-H Network News reporter, talks with WSU President Elson Floyd, during the WSU in Seattle event in Benaroya Hall. Luke Turner on camera.

Their video interview is coming soon!

Everyone sampled from the bounty of Washington-produced beverages and fine foods prepared by several of the Seattle area’s premier chefs.

A delicious meal may seem like magic, but often it is the result of close collaborations between scientists, farmers, chefs and consumers.

Enjoy great food while learning more about myriad ways that WSU Extension; the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences; local producers and purveyors work together to give you, the consumer, the freshest, most flavorful food available.
